We are proud to announce that the recipient of our Second Annual Building Better Lives Fundraiser is SOME, an interfaith, community-based organization which exists for the sole purpose of helping the poor and homeless of our nation’s capital.  SOME, So Others Might Eat, provides food, clothing and healthcare to the homeless population of Washington, DC and strives to break the cycle of homelessness by offering a wide array of services to the poor, the elderly and individuals with mental illness.  SOME works to restore hope and dignity, one person at a time.  To learn more about SOME please visit http://some.org/ .

Last year we held our very first Building Better Lives Fundraiser with all proceeds benefiting Operation Underground Railroad (www.ourrescue.org), whose mission is to rescue kidnapped children from slavery, #OUR RESCUE.  It was a great success and fun evening for all those who attended.
