Step 2: Schedule a Complimentary Site Visit During a casual, one-hour site visit, we’ll evaluate your home, discuss your vision, answer questions, and share a few expert suggestions. By the end of the hour, we’ll map out a clear, comprehensive project scope tailored to your goals. This scope serves as our initial project framework, which we will build upon throughout our design and planning process.
Step 3: Review Your Initial Estimate After our site visit, you’ll receive a Preliminary Project Report summarizing your project scope, preliminary pricing estimates, and clear next steps.
Step 4: Begin Schematic Design Once your Schematic Design Package is purchased, we typically schedule your design kickoff within three weeks.
Step 5: Access Your Online Portal You will receive a secure login through the MCG website to view and manage your documents, designs, selections, and progress photos all in one place.
Step 6: Explore Up to 3 Design Options We will provide CAD drawings, views, and cost ranges for up to three renovation paths. To help us provide an accurate initial budget, we’ll start with one of our pre-curated Selection Packages (you can easily update your finishes later).
Step 7: Select Your Design Direction Choose the exact renovation option or combination of options you want to bring to life.
Step 8: Approve the Design Development Proposal We will prepare your architectural drawings, structural/MEP engineering details, and everything required by your local jurisdiction to secure permit issuance.
Step 9: Finalize Your Finishes During this phase, you will customize your material selections to perfectly match your taste and lifestyle.
Step 10: Review Your Construction Proposal & Secure Your Date Once Design Development is complete, we provide a construction proposal. Signing the contract and paying the deposit secures your official start date.
Step 11: Pre-Construction Prep
Step 12: Construction Begins Work commences on your assigned date and progresses according to the schedule published in your online portal.
Step 13: Final Walkthrough & Punch List Once all jurisdiction inspections pass and construction is substantially complete, you’ll do a walkthrough with your Project Manager and Architectural Designer. Together, you’ll note any outstanding items on your Punch list.
Step 14: Project Wrap-Up & Handover
