4th Annual Building Better Lives Event

On RED Day, We will be teaming up with Keller Williams Metro Center on Spring Cleaning for two of New Hope Housing's local shelters!
These buildings have 119 shelter beds year-round plus an additional 90
beds during winter months. The shelter programs provide
safe, decent, and welcoming housing along with nutritious meals.
We will also be building a storage shed and staining a deck for the shelters.
New Hope Housing is an innovative, award-winning non-profit agency in Northern Virginia committed to finding creative and lasting solutions to end the cycle of homelessness by offering homeless men, women and children the services they need to change their lives and succeed. And each of those success stories adds to a stronger, healthier community for all.

We are proud to announce that the recipient of our Second Annual Building Better Lives Fundraiser is SOME, an interfaith, community-based organization which exists for the sole purpose of helping the poor and homeless of our nation’s capital.  SOME, So Others Might Eat, provides food, clothing and healthcare to the homeless population of Washington, DC and strives to break the cycle of homelessness by offering a wide array of services to the poor, the elderly and individuals with mental illness.  SOME works to restore hope and dignity, one person at a time.  To learn more about SOME please visit http://some.org/ .

Last year we held our very first Building Better Lives Fundraiser with all proceeds benefiting Operation Underground Railroad (www.ourrescue.org), whose mission is to rescue kidnapped children from slavery, #OUR RESCUE.  It was a great success and fun evening for all those who attended.
